Shafie explains that while employers can continue to use platforms like JobStreet or LinkedIn, MYFutureJobs will serve as the baseline for job visibility, protecting young workers. UNI-MLC expresses full support for this principle, emphasizing the need for an active, fair, and open labor system. The organization is committed to working with authorities and employers to ensure a smooth transition, stating that the amendment is not intended to burden employers but rather to ensure that Malaysian families are not denied opportunities due to hidden vacancies. Shafie urges the government to stay the course and not succumb to calls for a moratorium, as the long-term benefits for workers are clear and compelling.
